Manage Data and Delete Wedding

Settings

Export all wedding data or completely delete the wedding

Where do I find this?
Sidebar > Settings > General > Data Management (at the bottom)

Step by Step

  1. 1Click 'Settings' in the sidebar
  2. 2Select 'General'
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom to the 'Data Management' section
  4. 4For data export: Click 'Export'
  5. 5A JSON file with all data is downloaded
  6. 6To delete wedding: Click 'Delete' (red)
  7. 7Read the warning carefully
  8. 8Enter the confirmation word (DELETE)
  9. 9Click 'Delete' – the wedding is first deactivated (soft-delete) and permanently removed after a grace period
  10. 10Accidental deletion: You can restore the wedding via the restoration banner on the dashboard

Tips

  • Only the owner can export data or delete the wedding
  • The export includes everything: guests, RSVP, sections, photos, tasks, budget
  • Soft-delete: The wedding is first deactivated and can be restored during the grace period
  • Export your data before deleting as a backup
