Location Checkboxes in RSVP

RSVP

Let guests RSVP per location (checkboxes on the RSVP form). You control this under Content > Locations with “Show in RSVP” – independent of the Planning > Events list.

Step by Step

  1. 1Create a Locations section under 'Content' (if not already done)
  2. 2Edit the Locations section
  3. 3For each location: Enable 'Show in RSVP'
  4. 4Optional: Set the location as required
  5. 5Enter an RSVP label (e.g., 'Ceremony (3:00 PM)')
  6. 6Save the section
  7. 7Checkboxes for each location now appear in the RSVP form
  8. 8For automatic RSVP question assignment: Link the locations under 'Planning' > 'Events' with the respective events

Tips

  • Useful if you have multiple events (ceremony, church, party)
  • Required locations must be selected for a valid response
  • Statistics show who's coming to which event
  • Locations are the first building block of the mapping chain: Location → Event → RSVP Section → Questions
  • For token-based RSVP invitations, the selected location automatically determines which event-specific questions are shown
  • The public checkbox question (e.g. “Which events will you attend?”) comes from Locations under Content – not from Planning > Events. To hide it: turn off “Show in RSVP” per location in the Locations section.
  • If you delete planning events, RSVP checkboxes remain until no location has RSVP enabled (e.g. still set from onboarding).
